| | Wich of the perfomances of Québec's three major party leaders was the best and is most likely to alter general opinion. |

| | Clearly, Boisclair is the most likely to gain from his debate, especially from those who had lost confidence in his charisma. |

| I say Boisclair might leash back the lost puppies from the adq. During the debate, he poped out as the laid back lad, making Dumont look like a stressed out nintendo geek and Charest like a conceit addict.
The question should now be asked to proindependance ADQ supporters; After Dumont himself made it clear that he will not help the PQ doing a referendum, why would they keep on supporting the ADQ? Will VLB ever speak out again.
Let's now see if Dumont's support, after the big soar, will take a dive like it did in 2003. And if he does, I don't bet on a political survival. |

| | If he plunges, good riddance. I fear though that many of those people have already joined Dumont because of his demagoguery over the reasonable accommodations affair. I don't particularly want Boisclair to cater to those people, but hopefully a good deal of them are serious about Quebec secession and won't turn to Dumont's wishy-washy so-called "autonomist" agenda that essentially recycles Duplessis' formula. |

| Indeed, but a whole bunch of them left the PQ because they could not stand either Boisclair or the right turn the party took. They found strong leadership within the ADQ as well as nice catchy phrases. Others found nice lefty ideology and cute equality within QS. So how do we counter those -can't stand the PQ- voting for a federalist (sorry autonomist) party or a party that will need to wait a wee while before it thrives to power? The solution might be at spitting distance. Get them all in one supraparty, a coalition, an alliance, a league or whatev, feed the hungry orphans on independence, and plonk Duceppe as the new lider maximo above them all. QS can't afford spitting on their only chance to get to the Assemblée Nationale before next century. |
